The 300 rep workout is also do-able and says to perform all exercises "without ANY SCHEDULED REST". It doesn't say you can't rest. :)

I've seen this workout done by hundreds of people, most of whom were not super-fit.
Of course that doesn't mean it's easy.

@James Blackler, these workouts can be scaled back for serious newbies and, of course, a little common sense should be followed when using any online/magazine workout. Haha! There is set duration for the burpees, rest as much as you need to :) I also called this one a Single Movement Mind F**k. A lot of questions are asked the first time you do it...

the 'orginial' 300 was indeed designed by Mark Twight of Gym Jones. I'm one of a handful of British people to be Gym Jones Certified and it was me who made up this bodyweight version :)
